I love not having Friday classes!
My Dutch test went pretty well (wasn't sure about one part, but I'm sure I did fine), and my Argumentation Presentation was great.
It's Bart the RA's 25th birthday today, so we watched Ajax vs. Juventus, ate snacks, and drank beer in the common room. After most of the international students left, I hung out and talked to some of Bart's Dutch friends about languages (and how gay men are awesome at them), Boston accents, Amsterdam accents, cool places in the US, traveling around Europe, Yiddish, Yiddish vs. Hebrew, movies, etc. It was very fun. Now I'm cleaning up the apartment.
Amanda just left for Paris today, and Billy's coming from Paris tomorrow. We're just hoping everything will work out with his train after the whole Belgium incident. Wish him luck!
